    Lucy Atkins is an award-winning British journalist and author. Her debut novel, The Missing One, a psychological suspense story about a mothers secret past, is published by Quercus. Lucy grew up in the UK but has studied in Philadelphia and over the past ten years has lived with her husband and children in Seattle and Boston. Shes now back on home turf, where she is a fiction critic for The Sunday Times, and has written for newspapers such as The Guardian, The Times,The Telegraph and magazines such as Red, Woman and Home, Psychologies and Grazia.
