Description

Róisín and François meet at a research station on the frozen ice sheets of Antarctica; each has been brought to this wild, remote location by a fierce desire to explore the world, but to do so they have both had to make difficult choices.

As the story loops back through their lives, catching up with them only when a comet is visible in the skies above, we see how their lives have intertwined but never intersected until this moment.
