Betrayed by a family of horse-owners Jan Hardy has lost seven horses. Shortly after the swindle an Australian asks her to select and train eight horses but then his company runs into trouble and Jan can't find him. She would call on her friend Eddie but he's unavailable so she is left to her own devices.
