At 2.17 am Myron Bolitars phone rings. Its Aimee Biel, a teenager who has called the one adult who has promised to help her if she ever got into trouble. Myron collects Aimee from a street corner but she persuades him not to take her home, but to drop her off in the suburbs. With a final wave, Aimee disappears into the night.
