The galaxy is a large place, it is vast, empty and, according to the comprehensive and lucid Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, it is also harmless. However, Ford Prefect, one of the contributors to the Guide, spent years on a lonely planet which was destroyed to construct an inter-galactic highway, only to discover that there is a small correction that needs to be made. The galaxy isn’t harmless, but it is safe to say that in its miasma of emptiness, transcendence, melancholy, solitude and other words that belong in Vogon poetry, it is mostly harmless. Now, Arthur Dent and Fenchurch seek to spend their lovey-dovey time touring the Galaxy. However, their journey is cut short when Fenchurch disappears during a jump into hyperspace. Depressed, Arthur tries to kill himself, and to do so he must journey to Stavromula Beta. Meanwhile, Ford Prefect is trying to get the publishers of the Guide to change the text, but to his dismay, there is a problem in the publishing house.
