He is best known for his series of The One Minute Manager books and as the founder of The Ken Blanchard Companies. In 1991, he was named the Cornell Entrepreneur of the Year. Dr. Blanchard received his Bachelors degree in government and philosophy from Cornell University, and his Masters degree from Colgate University. He pursued his Ph.D. in educational administration and leadership from Cornell University. He is married to Dr. Marjorie Blanchard, an accomplished and well-known management trainer and consultant. The couple lives in San Diego, California and has two children-Scott and Debbie.
