The Eastern Ghats, One Of The Nine Floristic Zones In India, Are Located Between 11 30' E Longitude In A North-East To South-West Strike. The Eastern Ghats Are Spread Over Three States Of India, Namely Orissa, Andhra Pradesh And Tamil Nadu. It Covers An Area Of About 75,000 . With An Average Width Of 200 Km In The North And 100 Km In The South. About Author : Prof. T. Pullaiah Obtained His M. Sc. (1973) And Ph. D. (1976) Degrees In Botany From Andhra University. He Was A Post Doctoral Fellow At Moscow State University, Russia During 1976-78. Dr. K. Sri Ramamurthy Did His Master Degree (1994) In Botany From Acharya Nagarjuna University And Thereafter Obtained His Ph. D. (1998) From Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur. Dr. S.
