    Christoph Marzi (geboren 1970 in Mayen und aufgewachsen in Obermendig) lebt heute mit seiner Familie im Saarland und denkt sich dort und woanders Geschichten aus, während der Garten, der das Haus umgibt, immer wilder und seltsamer wird.
    Seine Romane erscheinen bei Heyne und Arena, die vielen Kurzgeschichten fühlen sich in diversen Anthologien wohl.
    Der Roman LYCIDAS wurde 2005 mit dem Deutschen Phantastik Preis in der Kategorie „Bestes Roman-Debüt Deutschsprachig“ ausgezeichnet, die Kurzgeschichten-sammlung NIMMERMEHR erhielt den Deutschen Phantastik Preis 2009 in der Kategorie „Beste Kurzgeschichtensammlung“.
    Einige seiner Bücher wurden ins Englische, Holländische, Spanische, Italienische, Rumänische, Tschechische, Serbische, Norwegische und Japanische übersetzt.
