    Sarah Webb

    Sarah Webb has written ten bestselling novels for adults including Always the Bridesmaid, The Shoestring Club, and The Memory Box, Her books have been published in many different countries including the US, Poland, Italy and Indonesia. She has also written many childrens books, has contributed short stories to several collections including Moments, and has compiled and edited two charity collections of her own, Travelling Light and Mums the Word.

    She writes a hugely popular series for readers of age 10+, Ask Amy Green. There are six books in this series, the latest being Ask Amy Green: Wedding Belles. She has also written many other books for children including Emma the Penguin and Sally Go Round the Stars.

    Sarah worked in the book trade for many years as a Childrens Buyer. She now combines writing with schools visits, talking and giving workshops at festivals, and reviewing childrens books for the Irish Independent. She has also programmed and run many successful readers days and book festivals, and is on the board of Childrens Books Ireland.

    She lives in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin, with her partner and three children and spends as much time as possible in Castletownsend, West Cork.
