Availability: In Stock

The lead character in Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth (Book - 5), Greg, experiences a series of misfortunes, as he completes his last year in middle school. Greg’s troubles start when he quarrels with his best friend and is eventually replaced by a perfect “role model”. Now having to face school on his own, he attempts to gain popularity through a textbook once owned a popular student. This plan eventually backfires. On the homefront, Greg faces a different set of challenges. At first, he fears attending his uncle’s wedding because of “The Talk” about the birds and the bees, that his great grandmother plans on having with him. Then his mother Susan decides to take some college courses, which throws his family off balance. Since his mom would not be around, Greg now has to assume responsibility for laundering his own clothes, waking up on time for school and finding time to complete chores as well as homework! As if all those challenges weren’t enough, Greg has to face a bad tempered dentist, a lazy maid and all the other trials and tribulations that a young boy faces as he develops into a teenager. All these trials eventually lead Greg to wonder whether growing up is really worth the trouble. It has also received positive reviews from newspapers such as LA Times and The New York Times.
