    Emma Darwin

    Emma Darwin was born and brought up in London, but has also spent time in both Manhattan and Brussels. Her debut novel, The Mathematics of Love, was published in 2006 to wide acclaim and her second novel, A Secret Alchemy, was published in 2008. Emma lives in South East London and is currently finishing a PhD in Creative Writing at Goldsmiths College. She is also writing a new novel set in the period of Queen Anne. She is the great-great-granddaughter of Charles Darwin and his wife Emma Wedgwood.
